Located in the small Wiltshire village of Lower Woodford to the north of Salisbury – The Wheatsheaf is a traditional country pub near Stonehenge, Amesbury and Old Sarum. Close to the River Avon, the pub is a few miles from the A303 and surrounded by many local walking routes.

We have plenty of free parking and we’re a dog-friendly pub.

Directions

From Stonehenge

From the A303 follow signs to the A360 and Salisbury.  Follow the A360 for 3 miles and take the first left onto Church Bottom.  Turn right at the bottom of this road, follow for 0.8 miles and the Wheatsheaf will be on your right.

From Salisbury

From the A36 Salisbury Ring Road take the A360 towards Stonehenge, follow the A360 for approximately 2.5 miles and at the crossroads turn right on to Camp Hill, at the bottom of camp hill bear left, follow the road for 0.8 miles and the Wheatsheaf will be on your left.
